New Delhi: The finance ministry on Wednesday said that there is the due date remains January 10 for filing GST final returns and the deadline ended last midnight.
The fake clarification news comes after social media notification which stated that the due date extended for filing GSTR-1 has been increased.
“The last date for filing of return in FORM GSTR-1, for different classes of taxpayers for the relevant periods remains 10 January 2018. There has been no the due date extended for filing return in FORM GSTR-1,” a finance ministry statement said.

Businesses whose turnover of up to Rupees 1.5 crore have to file GSTR-1 for July-September ended Last Night. The same deadline applies for those with a turnover of above than Rs1.5 crore for the filing of GSTR-1 for the months of July until November.
