The E-Way Bill for intra-state movement of goods valued over Rs 50,000 would be mandatory. according to a finance ministry statement.
New Delhi:- Two other states are going to join the list of states that are implementing the e-way bill of Intra State . The government has announced the implementation of intra state e-way bill in Assam from 16th May and in Rajasthan from 20th May.
So far, intra state e way-bill has been implemented in 18 states of the country. Now the number of states that implement this bill with Assam and Rajasthan will increase to 20.
“E-way bill system for intra-state movement of goods would be implemented in Assam from May 16 and Rajasthan from May 20, 2018”, the statement said.
Intra State the e-way bills have been implemented in 18 states
Total 18 States of the country are already part of intra state bill. The list of all states are given Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Puducherry. 4.15 crore e-way bill generated
With the introduction of the e-way bill now, the transport of goods has become easy in the country. More than 4.15 crores e-way bills have been successfully generated in the country till 13 May, including more than 1 crore e-way bills released for the Goods Intra-state Movement.
